What to put in a bug report
The app sends us nothing on its own: it has no network code, so nothing it produces — no crash report, no log — reaches us by itself, and we cannot see what happened on your phone. Your email is what we work from. Send whatever you have from this list; each item you include is one question we do not have to send back.
- Which phone you have, and which version of iOS or Android it is running.
- What you were doing in the game when it happened, what happened next (a crash to the home screen, a freeze, something that looked wrong), and what you expected instead.
- Whether it happens every time or only sometimes, and the steps to make it happen again if you have found them.
- A screenshot or screen recording, attached to the email, if you have one.
- The version of the game, if you know it.
Questions
Can I download Jumper St yet?
Not yet: it is still in development. When it is on the App Store or Google Play, this site will say so and link to it.
Does Jumper St need an internet connection?
Not today. The app has no network code, so it does not connect to anything: no servers, ours or anyone else’s, no advertising, no analytics. The only time the internet is involved is when the App Store or Google Play downloads or updates it. After launch we plan to add advertising, in-app purchases, accounts and multiplayer. Any of those would change this answer, and this page and the privacy page will say so when it does.
Does the game send you crash reports on its own?
No. Jumper St has no network code and sends nothing to us. A crash on your phone reaches us only if you tell us, or if you have opted in to sharing crash reports with Apple or Google and they pass one on. Even a report that comes through Apple or Google does not say what you were doing when it happened; only you can tell us that, so please write.
I lost my progress. Can you get it back?
No. Progress is saved on your phone. The app never sends it to us, so we cannot see it, restore it or move it to another phone. There is no account and no cloud save in the game.
How do I delete my data?
There is no account to close and nothing from the app on our side to delete. Your progress is saved in the app’s own storage on your phone, and we never have a copy. If you have emailed us, we have what you sent and we use it to reply to you; it stays in the mailbox unless you ask, and if you email the same address and ask us to delete it, we will. The privacy page explains what we checked and how.
Can I get a refund, or ask about a charge?
There is nothing to buy in Jumper St today: it has no in-app purchases, and it is not on the App Store or Google Play yet. We plan to add in-app purchases after launch. When that happens, they will be handled by Apple or Google rather than by us, and this page will say how to get help with them.
Why does the postal address say Kakabadze LLC?
Crowbar Labs is a registered fictitious name of Kakabadze LLC, a Pennsylvania company. They are not two companies: Crowbar Labs is the name the studio works under, and Kakabadze LLC is the legal entity behind it and the name on its mail.
